NextPlay answer
Make a Hype reel from the sports clips you pick
A Hype reel is a short vertical cut for social sharing. In NextPlay, you choose the exact plays and their order from a reel you already reviewed; the app adds the Hype look without replacing your judgment about what belongs.
1. Start from a reviewed reel
Open a finished Highlight, Recruiting Highlight, Coach Film or Game Tape and review its Play-by-play clips. Mark your athlete on any play where a viewer may not know who to watch.
Hype reels use clips from that reel, so check the beginning and end of each play before you pick it.
2. Preview and pick the plays
Choose Make Hype Reel, preview any clip you want to check, then select the plays in the order you want them to appear. NextPlay keeps every selected clip as it is instead of shortening it around a guessed peak.
Athlete circles, arrows and spotlights already placed on those clips carry into the Hype reel and follow the athlete when tracking evidence is available.
3. Review and download
The new Hype reel appears under Hype Reels on the original reel page. Play it, download the vertical MP4, or adjust an athlete mark and let NextPlay remake the file.
Hype reels do not include music. Add music you have permission to use in the social app where you post the video.
Common questions
Does AI choose the clips in my Hype reel?
No. You preview and pick the exact clips and their order. NextPlay applies the Hype treatment to that selection.
Do athlete marks carry into a Hype reel?
Yes. Existing circle, arrow or spotlight marks are copied with each picked clip, and changing a mark remakes the Hype file.
Does a Hype reel include music?
No. The Hype MP4 is silent so you can add music you are allowed to use in the app where you post it.
