1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NextPlay ("the Service"), operated by VZT Tech Consulting ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

NextPlay is an AI-powered sports content platform that processes uploaded game footage to generate highlight reels, performance grades, social media content, and recruiting materials. The Service uses artificial intelligence for video analysis, scoreboard reading, commentary transcription, and highlight detection.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be 13 or older to use the Service
  • If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must set up and manage the account on your behalf
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One person or legal entity per account
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account

4. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain all rights to the videos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant NextPlay a limited license to process, analyze, and transform your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

AI-Generated Content: Highlight reels, performance grades, social captions, and other content generated by our AI are created for your exclusive use. You own the rights to distribute and share this generated content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to share
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or bypass usage limits
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to harass, bully, or defame any person

6. Subscriptions & Billing

  • NextPlay is a paid service. Creating an account is free, but starting an upload or an AI analysis requires an active paid plan
  • Accounts that were inside a trial window granted before 5 September 2026 keep that window until the date shown on Settings → Billing. When it ends, or if you cancel, you cannot start a new upload or a new AI analysis until you subscribe. Your existing reels and videos remain available to watch, share, and download
  • Paid plans: billed monthly or yearly through Stripe (yearly is offered for the Athlete and Family plans), or through your Apple ID if you subscribed in the iOS app
  • Season Pass: a single payment through Stripe for three months of a plan. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel — access ends on the date shown on Settings → Billing, and we remind you by email a week before. Buying another pass while one is active adds three months to its end date
  • Fair use: uploads are unlimited on every paid plan. On plans started on or after 16 September 2026, AI analysis has a monthly allowance — Athlete 150 clips and 10 full games; Family 300 clips and 20 full games; Team 1,000 clips and 60 full games; Team Pro 3,000 clips and 200 full games. A full game is a video 15 minutes or longer. A video beyond the allowance is kept and playable and is analyzed after the allowance resets on the 1st of the following month (UTC), or sooner if you move to a plan with a larger allowance. Plans started before 16 September 2026 keep unlimited analysis
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time
  • Cancel on the web from Settings → Billing. A subscription bought through the App Store must be cancelled in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NextPlay, because Apple, not NextPlay, is the merchant of record for it. A subscription bought through Google Play must be cancelled in the Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NextPlay, because Google is the merchant of record for it
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are available only for accounts whose videos have never been analyzed, and a refund closes the account — see our Refund Policy

7. AI Disclaimer

AI-generated content (performance grades, recruiting matches, coach emails, social captions) is provided as a starting point and may contain inaccuracies. You should review all AI-generated content before sharing. AI performance grades do not replace professional coaching evaluations. Recruiting matches are suggestions based on publicly available data and may not reflect current program needs.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your videos and generated content will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

NextPlay is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
