Michigan recruiting FAQ
Does NextPlay work for Michigan high school athletes?
Yes — NextPlay is available to athletes everywhere, including Michigan. There's no school approval required and no team subscription. Parents and athletes sign up directly. Plans start at $14.99/month and include unlimited uploads and unlimited highlight reels, with full-game Game Tape included.
What sports does NextPlay support for Michigan recruits?
NextPlay supports 41 sports including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, wrestling, swimming, track and field, tennis, ice hockey, and more — every sport on the Michigan high school athletic association calendar.
How fast can a Michigan athlete get a recruiting reel?
Short clips are usually analyzed 5–10 minutes after the upload finishes. A full game takes longer — often an hour or more — and building the downloadable video of a long game can take several hours more. We notify you when each step is ready, so you can close the app while it works.
Can Michigan coaches view my NextPlay reel?
Yes. A share link works on any device and the viewer needs no account. The reel's view count shows that the link was opened; it does not identify which coach watched it. Share links are unlisted and do not appear in search results.
