How to Make a Lacrosse Highlight Reel

A lacrosse highlight works best when the viewer can follow the ball and see what the athlete does before the outcome. Choose footage that shows the setup, decision and finish instead of only the shot entering the goal.
1. Keep the ball and the athlete in view
For an attacking play, include the approach, pass or dodge before the shot. Keep enough of the field in frame to show spacing and nearby defenders. A tight zoom can make a fast pass disappear from the recording.
Include the contributions you want to show: a ground-ball pickup followed by a clean outlet, a defensive recovery, or a save and the next pass. Review the original clips to make sure those actions are visible.
2. Choose the right upload workflow
Select lacrosse when uploading local clips filmed around your athlete. Use My athlete for that player-focused footage. NextPlay finds plays and cuts downtime from the recording you provide.
For a wide team recording, start with Coach Film and remove the plays that do not belong to your athlete. NextPlay does not automatically identify one athlete throughout team film.
3. Review each sequence
Check that the clip includes enough lead-in to understand the play and continues through the result. Keep the whole save or ground-ball sequence when the follow-up matters.

4. Share a link or download the MP4
Watch the finished highlight, then use the share controls to copy its link or save an MP4. Test the share link while signed out before sending it.
